What's the use of UV gel?
Its first use: make fake nails, of course! However, there are different UV gels in ongular prothesy, all of which have a different use depending on what you want. But why UV? Because they harden very quickly under a UV lamp. And this polymerization ensures the strength of your manicure. There are obviously also LED gels that polymerize under LED lamp, but also under UV lamp. But be aware that a UV gel will not catalyze under a LED lamp.
Traditional UV gel has a lifetime of about 4 weeks and often requires professional intervention to remove it. The alternative to the gel nail could be the soak off which is a more respectful gel of the natural nail: a simple dissolvent with acetone is enough to remove it but its outfit is slightly lower since you can hardly go beyond 3 weeks (as opposed to 15 days).
Gel nails: how to do it?
UV color gel
Sold in small opaque pot to not alter the product in time, the color gel does not flow and will allow you to get the perfect cover of your nails. You will of course have a huge choice of colors in order to marry your nails at your convenience! A top coat layer in finish, eventually after your semi permanent varnish and here are perfect UV gel nails for many weeks.
Technical gel
From the base to the construction to the finish, you will need different consistency in your technical gels to make your nails. You will find in this category basic gels so that adherence is perfect. These transparent products or colours, but always in natural shades. The construction gel will allow it to create extensions, constructions to bring all the necessary strength.
